Write Your Script: Stuck in the Middle?
Ben Blaine takes a magnifying glass to each of the essential building blocks of a film or tv script. In this session: Middles.
Description
This seminar is the first of a group of three standalone sessions which can be taken together or separately (you can find the other seminars here). Across these seminars, Ben Blaine takes a magnifying glass to each of the essential building blocks of your film or tv script. In this seminar: The Middle.
Does your film or tv script turn to mush in the middle? Or are you getting the note that the ending doesn’t work (a sure sign that actually your middle is all wrong)? Do you even know what the middle of a story should do? Join Ben Blaine for a closer look at the hardest and most overlooked part of any story.
Together we will examine a series of successful middles from film and TV, see how other writers have made it work for them, learn what they are, how they work and how to make yours better.
This three hour session builds towards Ben’s level 2 screenwriting course and is the first part of three standalone sessions which can be taken separately or together.
