Level 2 - Scene Work - Intensive

This class develops your ability to initiate and sustain long-form improvisational scenes. It focuses on good scene fundamentals, acting in improv, an introduction to character point of view, and teaches you to play as a group. Choose from available dates below:

Description

In this class you will:

Discover and build emotional connections and relationships in scenes.
Learn about the importance of playing grounded, real, and committed
Practise the basics of group scenes (sharing stage time), backline support, and editing/’sweeping’.
Gain confidence and improve your on stage improv performance and scene work

Just so you know, our teachers assess the most beneficial placement for each student's progress so you may be asked to retake a course. Don’t worry, we still think you’re great, but it’s crucial to nail the skills in each level before moving on. That way you can hit the ground running and have more fun in your next class (and get a lovely big discount!).

Prerequisites

The FA’s Level 1 Intro to Longform class is a prerequisite for this course. HOWEVER, if you have significant other long-form improv experience, you may be able to take this course. Please email first to obtain permission.

Fee includes 'Buy One Get One Half Price' show tickets and free entry to FA Harold night for the duration of the course.
